The Pilastro series is designed with inspiration in the elegant and functional Art Deco style of the 1920s, which at the time dominated the world of architecture and design. The series consists of drinking glasses, serving bowls and a wine cooler and now also a carafe.

The shape is based on the traditional Manhattan shaker, which consists of three parts: a container, a filter and a lid.

LUCIE Hurricane

Lucie is made from glass in different colors, with inspiration from the nature that surrounds us; ‘Amber’ as the gem that has laid in the sea for thousands of years, ‘Azure’ as the deep blue color of the sea, and‘ Smoke ’as the smoke from a recently extinguished bonfire.

The combination of the characteristic colors and the simple shape of the glass, makes this hurricane synonymous with a modern decor.

Lucie is designed to be used both outdoor and indoor and has a simple expression, where color and simple function are allowed to be at the center. The light source for Lucie hurricane is 100% vegetable oil candles.

COOL-IT keeps beverages cool in the fridge. A 1.5-liter serving glass carafe is created with an innovative easy to open/close ball lid that flips over the spout. The carafe is made of glass and ABS and TPE rubber and currently comes in 3 colors: cool grey, creamy blue, deep orange. A new color range will come spring 2018.

PINGO dinnerware has been designed to appeal to children but at the same time being decorative in a table setting.

The illustrations of Pingo and family adds a friendly touch to the ergonomic design of a bowl, a plate and a small cup.

The colors are ‘‘tone in tone’’, variations of grey which is unisex and fits most dinnerware for a nice table setting.

HOOP was primarily designed as the perfect vase serie to arrange flowers, but also as a beautiful collection of objects in itself. Taking inspiration from the Danish glasswork of the 50’s, it also combines a very contemporary expression that will fit in both traditional and modern environments.

The shape of the vases is designed so they can be used either for a bouquet, or just a branch from an apple tree in blossom.

First designed as a shop and trade fair display solution, the idea was to create a shelving unit that is easy to mount and move by anyone.
Using the principle of the typical folding ladder, the frame and shelves can be flat packaged and assembled without any tool.
The idea evolved to become a piece of furniture that fits in people’s home.

Inspired by early 20th-century industrial electrical devices, RADIO is a decorative lamp that takes advantage of the low-glow light bulb with the highly visible filament. RADIO casts playful and fascinating shadow lines on the surrounding surfaces, like a transparent yet fully fledged drawing come to life in three dimensional form.

Radio comes in three different sizes, in pendant and wall mounted versions.

The brief was to develop a modern Scandinavian collection using pine as the main material. The collection includes a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed, bedside table and mirror that can be quickly assembled installed or disassembled. Its bed made of light birch wood and with its authentic lines and clean shape. Headboard IKEA mandal bed brings an elegant and comfortable atmosphere in any room of the house.

The aim was to design an addition to RIG-TIGs kitchen collection which should appeal to contemporary home owners who look to add an original yet classic styled element to their dining table. TIDY got awarded with the Design Plus Award in 2014.

MAGMA is a thermos bottle with a surprisingly good grip enabled by shape and soft material rather than the classic addition of a handle. The demand was to create a new iconic product that would be as decorative as practical. Unit 10 received IF Design Award China and Design Plus Award for MAGMA in 2006.

BINTJE

"The Neverending Design Stories" was the theme of IKEA PS 2009 collection. Going back to the roots of Swedish tradition, BINTJE transformed the typical market crate into a piece of furniture that can be assembled to create unlimited combinations. The idea was also to create a product that can be used in many different ways, from a single storage carrying box to a medium size storage solution.

The Circle mug stoneware is designed to fit with the EM77 vacuum jug. Inspired by the organic yet strict geometry, the comfortable circles caters for a good grip handle. The cups have previously been sold in a range of different shades of blue and peach. Today its produced with two glaced finishes: white and copper brown.
